Wow, in a couple months winter will surely be a distant memory for me here in San Diego. Not that it gets all that wet and cold here like it does in my hometown of Boston, but the city surely seems to hunker down a bit. The main behavior I noticed is that not many people go to the beach or the shore when it is fifty-five to sixty degrees, and people like to wear parkas when it’s that temperature too. In Boston, if we should be deemed so lucky to come across that warmth in mid-winter we’d be off to the beach in sandals, t-shirts and shorts. We’d soak up the sun like it was a beautiful hint of summer days to come. People just don’t do that here.
Of course, that’s just my opinion.
There are advantages of course to living here in San Diego. We get to work outside nearly every day without having to bundle up with four layers of clothing, and we don’t need to have an extra closet in our house for the ‘winter’ clothes. That part I like!
I’ve been working for Eco G Painters coming up on six months now and we keep pretty busy.
